Make the Difference (MTD) - our iconic, global recognition program– recognizes Associates from across the world, engages the Mars Family with their work, and sources innovation that can scale for the Business. It gives a voice to the pioneers, trailblazers, collaborators, do-ers, creators, innovators and everyday heroes who have delivered something amazing at Mars. Thousands of Associates are nominated from across the world for their extraordinary work, across businesses, regions and segments.

The program culminates in a Global Finals gala awards night (held in Washington D.C.) which is attended by the global finalists, senior leaders and Mars family members.

 

MTD is one of the five essential programs of the Essence of Mars. It sets Mars apart as an organization that values the contribution of all of its people and recognizes individual Associates and teams who have delivered extraordinary impact which helps bring us closer to the world we want tomorrow, through living the Essence of Mars.
